The taste starts with brief sweetness before being overtaken by cinnamon then milk chocolate. The second sip reveals sweet oak that compliments the cinnamon nicely and the chocolate becomes dark. Sweet barbecue notes linger in the background. After the different whiskeys were vatted together, the final whiskey was finished for 6-8 months in a stout barrel from Ardent Craft Ales.
